Expungement, Expunction and Sealing Records
Each person may have a single set of criminal charges erased or expunged from their criminal record. The court defines a set of charges as those occurring within a 12 month period. To be eligible, the charges must have been resolved by a dismissal or by a finding of not guilty. Also, the applicant may not be a convicted felon.
Other rules apply to crimes committed while the applicant was under the age of 18.
